Radio Flare REDUX is a highly stylized side-scrolling shoot-’em-up that makes exceptional use of your iPod Touch or iPhone’s multi-touch capabilities, not to mention its headphone socket.

Redux is an improvement on the original game in some ways, but it also takes away some of the integrated audio flair that made it an immersive musical experience.

Pros: New vocal recognition let's player sing out loud. Numerous improvements over last year's entry. iPad version offers split-screen multiplayer, as well as a few other cool exclusive features. Cons: Still can't access the full Rock Band music store. Some of the iPad-exclusive features could have easily been included in the iPhone version.

One more time, with feeling.

ROCK BAND Reloaded is a solid rhythm game title with the usual variety of instruments, but while singing is a great addition it doesn't make up for the rest of the game's encore performance.

7.5
Rock Band Reloaded is an improvement over last year’s model, but for the most part it’s more of the same.
