Another bullet-dodging thrill ride from the king of crazy shmups. But as a straight port of a 2002 arcade game, it doesn't feel as fresh as its Cave cohorts (8.0)

Pros: Great graphics and sound. Fun physics puzzling gameplay. Very clever level designs. IAP system is totally optional. Cons: Physics system seems to enjoy freaking out every now and then. (4)

DoDonPachi Blissful Death takes you a few years in to the past before the events of Resurrection and puts you in control of the 'dolls' you'll eventually need to destroy; as such it's just as frantic and energetic as the series ever gets and a solid release from bullet-hell developer CAVE. (4)

When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie, you've screwed up. Start the level over and try again. (3.0)
7.5
Pros: Lovely character models and still images. Drag and drop gameplay mechanics work nicely. IAP system is fairly affordable. Cons: English translation isn't all that great. In-game environments don't really do much. Gameplay feels rather shallow. Audio won't turn on or off reliably. Zero replay value. (3)

Raid Leader’s MMO boss battles are well thought out but poorly executed. (2.0)

Pros: Amazing graphics and sound. Deep, challenging turn-based strategy gameplay. An outstanding adaptation of Lovecraft's Eldritch Horror. Recent update solves all the major problems present in the first version. Cons: High level of difficulty will undoubtedly turn some people off. (4.5)
9.0
Mission based gameplay, touch and glide mechanics, cute cartoon characters. Brave Beak tries to hit all the sweet spots of popular iPhone gaming and for the most part succeeds. (4)

RPG fans looking for an old school dungeon crawler... this is not it, but what it does offer is fun turn based combat, a humorous plot and lots of loot. (4)

Ragdoll Blaster 3’s various types of ragdolls make this otherwise formulaic game feel fresh. (3.0)

A lovely art style complements solid if derivative gameplay - worth a look if you're after the new Jetpack Joyride (7.0)

Awkward controls spoil an original idea in a game that looks better than it plays (6.0)

A nice introduction to the endless runner genre (or in this case the endless flyer). Pleasant visuals but there are some balance issues. (3)

Baseball Superstars 2012 is a gem. If there is a better, more fully featured, sports game on iOS, we have not seen it. (4.0)
10.0
Pros: More fully featured and well done than a lot of console racers. Highly addictive. Cons: A little bit more of the same from the first game. (5)

Pros: Time rewind mechanic is fun, animation is top notch Cons: Dialogue parts seem to take forever (4.5)

Not really recommended for iPhone, though iPad gamers who can decipher the game’s logic may get something out of it. (2.0)
