A number of features make Madden NFL 10 a more realistic and enjoyable portrayal of football, but a few problems--both old and new--continue to trouble the series.

EA Sports has recently released Madden NFL Arcade as a downloadable title through the PSN and XBLA networks on November 24th and November 25th respectively. The game costs $14.99 or 1200 MS Points. The game is a five-on-five arcade style football game in the vein of Midway's NFL Blitz, featuring all 32 NFL teams and stadiums.
The game features Game Changers, which are similar to NFL Street's Game Breakers. There are 13 Game Changers, with one consisting of bringing extra players onto the field to help out the offensive line. Players have the opportunity to gain a Game Breaker prior to every play, and will be able to use it at that instant or retain for later use.

GameSpot 5.5

Madden NFL Arcade straddles the line between over-the-top arcade sports games and buttoned-down sims but doesn't wind up pleasing anybody.

EA's latest arcade venture plays it disappointingly safe.

IGN 6.5

Not quite NFL Street or Madden, but mildly enjoyable nonetheless.
