GameSpot 4.5 Voltron: Defender of the Universe (360)

What should be a joyful revival is dragged down by low-res textures, repetitive missions, punchless attacks, and an overall lack of excitement.

GamePro 5.0 Otomedius Excellent (360)

A far cry from Parodius, Konami's latest Gradius spin-off isn't one fans should flock to.

IGN 5.5 Otomedius Excellent (360)

This by-the-book arcade shooter is overreaching as a $30 retail game.

1UP 5.4 Otomedius Excellent (360)

While you won't want to play it in front of loved ones, Konami's newest shoot-em-up is a decent upgrade from its import-only predecessor.

Splitkick 7.0 Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon (360)

Earth Defense Force: 2017 was low-budget, low-rent but high on fun. Now, with Vicious Cycle at the helm, the production values have increased and a new class system has been introduced, but the gameplay mostly remains the same. Unfortunately, it feels like somewhere along the line, with all the polish and shine, it’s lost its soul.

Splitkick 4.0 Trenched (360)

I’ve long been of the belief that there’s no wrong way to play a game. If you want to play Mass Effect 2 as a one-off space adventure, have at it. If you want to treat Fable 2 as a dating sim, go nuts. Halfway through my venture across the single player mode of Trenched, however, it became readily apparent that I was playing it wrong, and I’m left to wonder who’s to blame.

Splitkick 7.0 Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team (360)

In this third person arcade style shooter, players take on the role of an elite Space Marine team sent to assault a giant Ork Kroozer en-route to an Imperial Forge World. Do you have what it takes to take out the Warboss and prevent the Waaaagh?

IGN 6.5 Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team (360)

Shooting to wound.

GameSpot 6.0 Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team (360)

Kill Team's dual-stick shooting action has an old-fashioned arcade appeal, but it's too simple to stand out from the crowd.

GamePro 6.0 Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team (360)

An entertaining twin-stick shooter bogged down by needless camera angles and gratuitous slow motion.

GiantBomb 4.0 Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon (360)

Insect Armageddon fails to capture the chaos that made its predecessor "special," meaning there's little to distract you from the simple, repetitive, and boring gameplay underneath.

GamePro 6.0 Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon (360)

This campy bug-blasting shooter from developer Vicious Cycle does an admirable job of improving on its predecessor's faults, but a short campaign, a lack of checkpoints, and glitchy gameplay make it tough to recommend to anyone but fans of the franchise.

GameSpot 7.0 Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon (360)

Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon has lots of explosions and destruction, but not quite enough variety to keep things moving.
