Slide To Play 5.0 Don't Run With a Plasma Sword (iPhone)

Don’t run and buy Don’t Run With a Plasma Sword, with or without a plasma sword in tow.

Pocket Gamer 5.0 Superman (iPhone)

The lineage of lacklustre Superman games continues with this curiously dull and lifeless effort. The gameplay feels stale and lacks variety, making this a release that you should avoid like Kryptonite

AppSpy 8.0 Don't Run With a Plasma Sword (iPhone)

If you're going to be an 'endless runner', take a page out Don't Run With a Plasma Sword's book and try to provide an experience that goes beyond mindless platforming; while it still suffers from the genre's weaknesses, it's a great title for those after truly competitive high-scoring.

AppSpy 6.0 Superman (iPhone)

Wow, an actually decent Superman game. While nothing to rave over, it's good to see the man of steel receive a fun interactive experience.

Slide To Play 5.0 Superman (iPhone)

It’s sad to see that the Man of Steel can’t catch a break.

Gamezebo 7.0 Superman (iPhone)

Pros: Challenging to try and save Metropolis from all the spawning dangers. Makes use of most of the Superman powers in some way. Gratifying to barrel through groups of fleeing criminals. Cons: Very, very cheesy a lot of the time. Relatively shallow narrative and play mechanics.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution - The Missing Link is a disjointed but ultimately enjoyable return to Adam Jensen's adventure.

IGN 8.0 Deus Ex: Human Revolution The Missing Link (PS3)
Deus Ex: Human Revolution The Missing Link (PC)

The first piece of DLC for Human Revolution delivers a substantial and exciting slice of action.

GameSpy 7.0 Deus Ex: Human Revolution The Missing Link (PC)

A worthwhile follow-up with a few hiccups.

Splitkick 9.0 Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine (PS3)

Ever since I picked up my first issue of White Dwarf magazine in the late 1980’s, I have had a never-ending fascination with Games Workshop. To this day, Warhammer 40K remains my favorite science fiction universe. As an avid fan of the Dawn of War series, I have been following the development of Space Marine since Relic announced it. Now that it has finally arrived, I can tell you it is without a doubt one of the best video game translations of the 40K universe ever created, and one of the best games I have played this year.

GiantBomb 8.0 Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine (PC)
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine (360)

Space Marine's balance between melee and ranged combat separates this savage and brutal game from so many other copycat shooters.

GiantBomb 6.0 Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine (PS3)

Space Marine's brutal single player works just fine on the PS3, but the online matchmaking is so busted that it's clearly the weakest of the three platforms.
