Pocket Gamer 6.0 Six-Guns (iPhone)

In visual and gameplay terms this freemium action title hits the bulls-eye, but the complete absence of any kind of storyline robs it of purpose

AppSpy 6.0 Six-Guns (iPhone)

Six-Guns comes closer than any other freemium title to providing an experience that's packed with action and worth coming back to time and again, but its lack of a narrative and repetitive quests remind you far too often that you're playing a freemium title that's designed around its 'store' button.

Gamezebo 4.0 Six-Guns (iPhone)

Pros: Easy-to-use control scheme. Great graphics. Cons: Controls don't always work. Texture pop-up happens regularly. Missions get repetitive and boring fast. There is literally no story to follow.

Even a master assassin has regrets.

GameSpot 8.0 Assassin's Creed: Revelations (PS3)

Ezio and Altair make graceful exits in Assassin's Creed: Revelations, another great historical adventure.

1UP 7.7 Assassin's Creed: Revelations (PS3)

As solid the gameplay refinements are, this is a less daring entry than its revolutionary predecessors.

GameSpot 3.0 The Cursed Crusade (PS3)

The Cursed Crusade is a repetitive hack-and-slash that is marred by clumsy combat, poor dialogue, and some serious technical issues.

Slide To Play 7.5 BackStab (iPhone)

BackStab manages to capture much of what makes the Assassin’s Creed games so great.

AppSpy 8.0 BackStab (iPhone)

BackStab is less assassin and more rogue in its approach to open-world action, but if you're simply after a skull-cracking romp you'll get your full share here.
