IGN 8.0 The Darkness II (360)

Prepare to feel the power.

GiantBomb 8.0 The Darkness II (360)

Digital Extremes ably picks up where Starbreeze left off, crafting a satisfyingly brutal adventure that only rarely loses its way.

Game Informer 7.5 The Darkness II (360)

The Darkness II Review: A lovesick killer loses his soul

GameSpot 7.0 The Darkness II (360)

The Darkness II is not the revelation its predecessor was, but ripping up occultists with your demon arms is a blast anyway.

1UP 6.9 The Darkness II (360)

Developer Digital Extreme's Darkness sequel is equally parts inspired as it is bloody.

GameSpot 7.0 Gears of War 3: Raam's Shadow (360)

RAAM's Shadow delivers good Gears action and a novel way to wreak havoc, but it's hampered by uneven pacing and a lackluster narrative.

GiantBomb 8.0 Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary (360)

It's easy enough to look past the original Halo's more dated qualities given Anniversary's tasteful visual refresh and a combat formula that's still plenty exciting.

Game Informer 8.5 Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary (360)

Halo Anniversary Review: Melding The Old And The New

GameSpot 8.0 Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary (360)

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary revitalizes an enduring classic.

Splitkick 6.0 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (360)

The series has been refined too many times for a release to outright suck, but it may also have been around too long for any subsequent Call of Duty game to truly excite. Everything here is passable, save the worst of the multiplayer maps, and I guess that might be enough for some. Unfortunately then, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 shows the signs of its assumedly tumultuous development and the signs of a franchise going stale.

IGN 8.0 Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary (360)

This reboot of Master Chief's first adventure is an exciting, if aged experience.

GamePro 8.0 Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary (360)

Following the original blueprint left by Bungie, Halo: CE Anniversary proves that the franchise is in good hands with the crew at 343 Industries.

1UP 6.9 Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary (360)

A unique tribute to all things Halo fall just short of being a revolutionary package.
