Pocket Gamer 7.0 CrimsonHeart (iPhone)

CrimsonHeart offers the same tried-and-tested action-RPG gameplay, but its improved controls and excellent visuals help to elevate it slightly above its peers - of which there are many

Slide To Play 7.5 Zenonia 4: Return of the Legend (iPhone)

Zenonia 4 is a great-looking, deep action RPG, but its repetitiveness and reliance on grinding will turn off many gamers.

Gamezebo 7.0 Dungeon Hunter 3 (iPhone)
Dungeon Hunter 3 (iPad)

Pros: Fun progression system. Loads of cool gear. Substantial level variety and content. Cons: Targeting is borderline broken. Progress is slow-going without the aid of IAPs. Limited and repetitive gameplay design.

Gamezebo 7.0 Zenonia 4: Return of the Legend (iPhone)

Pros: 2D graphics are magnificent. Excellent action gameplay. Full customization of characters means you're guaranteed a unique experience. Cons: Features the worst-named hero to EVER appear in a video game. Story and dialogue is painful. Weird text-wrapping/English conversion issues. In-game marketing is obnoxious.

Pocket Gamer 7.0 Dungeon Hunter 3 (iPhone)

The Dungeon Hunter series has always been a bit of a blunt object, and this third instalment is no different. In spite of its controversial move to a freemium model, Dungeon Hunter 3 is still an entertaining, violent romp

Pocket Gamer 7.0 Zenonia 4: Return of the Legend (iPhone)

Zenonia 4 doesn't add anything to the template its predecessors have laid down, but that doesn't stop if from being an entertaining and engaging action-RPG

AppSpy 6.0 Dungeon Hunter 3 (iPhone)

Dungeon Hunter 3 takes a series that has some depth and skims from the top, providing players with a thin sheen of a game (albeit one with many levels to unlock); a boon to budget gamers willing to pay their way through grinding.

Slide To Play 5.0 Dungeon Hunter 3 (iPhone)

Dungeon Hunter 3 takes out the story-driven dungeon crawling that was executed so well in previous installments and replaces it with arena-based wave combat and a poorly implemented freemium pay model.

Pocket Gamer 4.0 Osiris Legends (iPhone)

It's a largely ambitious game, but Osiris is let down by its mindless combat, dull plot, appalling controls and spate of glitches. It's not worth the premium price tag by a long shot

Gamezebo 8.0 Infinity Blade II (iPad)
Infinity Blade II (iPhone)

Pros: Story plays a much bigger part this time around. Little tweaks, like unique weapons systems and gem upgrades are a good fit. Cons: Lacks some of the features that were introduced in later Infinity Blade updates. Doesn’t tread much new ground.

1UP 7.7 Infinity Blade II (iPad)
Infinity Blade II (iPhone)

iOS gaming's "killer app" returns with enough new bells & whistles to merit another purchase.

AppSpy 10.0 Infinity Blade II (iPhone)

Infinity Blade II is everything the original wanted to be and a little bit more; it's easy to get caught up in its beautiful visuals, but at its heart beats a challenging and addictive Action RPG just waiting to be conquered.
