GiantBomb 8.0 Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning (PS3)

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning creates an interesting world and gives you good combat options, but the whole thing overstays its welcome a bit.

GameSpot 7.5 Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning (PS3)

Kingdoms of Amalur's combat and character advancement are fantastic enough to overshadow how bland everything else is.

GameSpot 7.0 The Darkness II (PS3)

The Darkness II is not the revelation its predecessor was, but ripping up occultists with your demon arms is a blast anyway.

1UP 6.9 The Darkness II (PS3)

Developer Digital Extreme's Darkness sequel is equally parts inspired as it is bloody.

1UP 8.5 Shank 2 (PS3)

But as long as it's great, we're not complaining.

1UP 7.7 Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning (PS3)

Reckoning manages to take a little bit from every RPG, yet create something wholly new and distinct for its debut.

IGN 9.0 Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning (PS3)

Gameplay-lacking RPGs have met their match.

GameSpot 8.5 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (PS3)

By sticking to the series' strengths, Modern Warfare 3 delivers some of the best competitive, cooperative, and single-player shooting in the business.

GameSpot 6.0 NeverDead (PS3)

Enjoyable highs interspersed with crushing lows make NeverDead as inventive as it is frustrating.

IGN 3.0 NeverDead (PS3)

Konami's bet on a new game goes bust.

1UP 1.5 NeverDead (PS3)

Konami delivers Murphy's Law in video game form.

GameSpot 5.0 Saints Row: The Third - Genki Bowl VII (PS3)

Genki Bowl VII's four quick activities lack the excitement and humor of your earlier adventures in Steelport.

Splitkick 6.0 The House of the Dead: Overkill -- - Extended Cut (PS3)

I really wanted to like House of the Dead: Overkill – Extended Cut. The grindhouse aesthetic does a remarkable job of allowing players to overlook a poor technical presentation. By intentionally using a theme framed in tacky production quality, a zombie failing to find its path through a level and running into a wall could as easily be an homage as it could be a bug.

Splitkick 7.0 Dark Souls (PS3)

I’ve commonly heard the world of Dark Souls described as a form of purgatory. This is not accurate. Purgatory is a condition of temporary judgement, a holding cell before final placement in heaven or hell. The condition in Dark Souls is nothing of the sort. After the final encounter is finished and the inauspicious credits roll, you awaken back in your cell.
