Final Fantasy XIII-2 Review: Fixing The Little Problems While The Big Ones Get Worse

GameSpot 7.5 Final Fantasy XIII-2 (PS3)
Final Fantasy XIII-2 (360)

Final Fantasy XIII-2 doesn't capture Lightning in a bottle, but it's still a fun and heartfelt role-playing adventure.

1UP 6.9 Final Fantasy XIII-2 (360)
Final Fantasy XIII-2 (PS3)

This gawky teenager of an RPG makes an earnest effort, but it's no longer one of the cool kids.

AppSpy 8.0 Chrono Trigger (iPhone)

This is still the Chrono Trigger fans have come to know and love even despite Square Enix' stubborn refusal to shape its games to suit the iOS platform; this can dampen the experience, but its core still shines through.

Pocket Gamer 8.0 Chrono Trigger (iPhone)

Despite Square Enix’s slovenly porting skills, none of Chrono Trigger’s brilliance has been obscured in this rather lazy iOS port. Hours of riveting RPG entertainment await those of you willing to look past the fuzzy graphics and occasionally awkward controls

Slide To Play 7.5 Chrono Trigger (iPhone)

As a game, Chrono Trigger is perfect. As a port, we've seen better.

1UP 7.7 Fortune Street (Wii)

Nintendo's new party game has nothing in common with Mario Party, save one: It sucks solo.

Gamezebo 8.0 Chaos Rings Ω (iPad)

Pros: Lovely graphics. Fun gameplay. Epic plot. Fans of the first game will love it. Cons: Story is going to confuse new players. So familiar to the first game that it feels a bit unoriginal. Some backgrounds look kinda fuzzy on the iPad's display.
