Reviews

8.7
based on 8 top critics

7.0
Infinity Blade 2 is expansive. Additional weapon styles, a larger castle to explore with multiple paths that evolve and alter over time, and more story. Every aspect or feature from the original was multiplied by at least a factor of two, giving it a bigger-is-better mentality. These additions offer more ways to play, but dilutes the tight experience offered by the original.

7.7
iOS gaming's "killer app" returns with enough new bells & whistles to merit another purchase.

8.0
Pros: Story plays a much bigger part this time around. Little tweaks, like unique weapons systems and gem upgrades are a good fit. Cons: Lacks some of the features that were introduced in later Infinity Blade updates. Doesn’t tread much new ground.

9.0
Deep, accessible, and visually stunning, Infinity Blade II sets the standard for iOS gaming.

10.0
Infinity Blade II is everything the original wanted to be and a little bit more; it's easy to get caught up in its beautiful visuals, but at its heart beats a challenging and addictive Action RPG just waiting to be conquered.

8.0
A brutal, cyclical action RPG that builds on the foundations of its predecessor, Infinity Blade II is a showcase for everything that's right about sequels, but it's not the big leap forward that some might have been hoping for

10.0
The App Store has a new reigning king.

10.0
Infinity Blade II takes everything that was great about the first game and turns it up a notch.
