Reviews

4.5
based on 5 top critics

3.0
Why Ubisoft continues to put out Call of Juarez games, I do not know. The first two titles were met with okay reviews, though they were never a big hit. After playing the third in this series, Call of Juarez: The Cartel, I am left wondering if the developers thought that merely changing the time period to modern day would finally take the series from a luke warm to hot seller. With a plethora of first person shooters to choose from, this game comes across as nothing more than blah.

6.0
Some distinguishing features give this shooter a touch of class, but bugs and execution flaws cast a long shadow over Call of Juarez: The Cartel.

3.8
Call of Juarez jumps from Western to Urban, and lands in Mediocrity instead.

5.0
A by-the-books shooter from beginning to end, Call of Juarez: The Cartel swaps the Wild West setting and interesting characters of its predecessors to become a stale, but serviceable, shoot-'em-up.

4.5
A Promising Co-Op Concept Can't Save This Subpar Shooter
