"Assassin's Creed II is a third person action-adventure video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. The sequel to Assassin's Creed, it was released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on November 17, 2009. Assassin's Creed II takes place in an open world with nonlinear gameplay, allowing the player to free roam within the four regions: the cities of Venice, Rome, and Florence, and the Tuscan countryside; acquiring weapons which the character may buy from vendors at will."
