LittleBigPlanet, commonly abbreviated LBP, is a puzzle platformer video game (with user-generated content) for the PlayStation 3 first announced on 7 March 2007, by Phil Harrison at the 2007 Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco, California. In a February 2009 press release, Sony announced a version of LittleBigPlanet for the PlayStation Portable was developed by SCE Studio Cambridge in conjunction with Media Molecule. LittleBigPlanet was first shown publicly at E3 2009 and it was released in November 2009.
