I was filled with anticipation when starting Child of Eden. Being a fan of Kinect compatibility, I had been waiting for this title to release. Unfortunately, nothing about the Kinect controls drew me into the game. I instead played the majority of this game with my controller, but even without the gimmicky motion controls this game is a gem.

Child of Eden is Tetsuya Mizuguchi's most fully realized lightspeed bioluminescent cyberspace techno-synthetic neon air sculpture. That it's also a video game seems beside the point.

The spiritual successor to Rez builds on the core tenants of the first game beautifully, but still feels familiar.

Q Entertainment's latest tranceadelic odyssey may be considered the second coming of Rez, but there's a duality in that.

8.5
Child of Eden may be over quickly, but it offers emotional highs you'll want to experience again and again.

Stellar presentation and vocal harmonies help make The Beatles: Rock Band something special in the world of music games.

10.0
A loving tribute to one of the most influential pop groups of the 20th century with an abundance of catchy, recognizable songs to make up for the gameplay's relative simplicity.

6.9
A beautiful tribute to one of rock's greatest bands offers a too-short experience for a premium price.
