Bayonetta (ベヨネッタ Beyonetta?) is an action game for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, directed by Devil May Cry and Viewtiful Joe series creator Hideki Kamiya at Platinum Games in cooperation with publisher Sega. Set in a fictional city in Europe, the game centers on its title character Bayonetta, who can wield four handguns—among other weapons—and perform magical attacks to defeat various enemies. The game has five difficulty settings; its two easiest ones contain a game mode playable with only one button, similar to a mode Kamiya used in Devil May Cry. Its developers designed its characters with modern style and fashion in mind, and composed for it a largely upbeat and feminine soundtrack. The player is encouraged to explore ways to dispatch enemies with as much flair as possible through the use of both melee and long ranged attacks, complex combo strings, and multiple weapons. Special commands or actions are woven into events, finishes, executions, and unique "Torture combos" in which Bayonetta summons a variety of devices to deal devastating blows to her enemies.

Hideki Kamiya is the king of stylish Japanese action games... and lord of lousy camera angles.

There's an intensity and a lack of compromise to Bayonetta that some might find overwhelming, but those who can stomach it are in for an audacious and singular experience.

Bayonetta is simultaneously gratuitous, ludicrous, and marvelous, but that's precisely why it's such a wild and fun adventure.

Arcade Edition is the most comprehensive version of Street Fighter IV released to date, and an essential buy for fans who don't already have Super Street Fighter IV.

This "definitive version" of Street Fighter 4 could use another update to fix some glaring character balance issues.

Before AE, we had Super Street Fighter IV which was an improved version of Street Fighter IV. So let’s assume that AE brought the same level of balance changes and improvements to the game, then it should theoretically be the best yet, right?

Icing on the cake.

A budget price and a comprehensive list of updates probably won't impress casual gamers, but Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition still has plenty of additions that hardcore fans will want to snatch up.
