The Summer of Arcade starts with a (fang repeater) bang.

10.0
Rich artwork, addictive gameplay, and a wonderful story prove that Bastion, despite its humble presentation, has all the right ingredients to be one of the year's most satisfying games.

9.3
Rich Storytelling Sends Bastion Over The Top

8.5
Bastion is a wonderfully diverse game that offers up a great deal of flexibility in how you approach its many challenges.

10.0
Storytelling is a finely honed craft. Great stories often depend on great storytellers; someone who can do more than recount a sequence of events. A great storyteller will lure in his audience, captivate them, and have them hanging on his every word. It is rare to see this art translated to the medium of videogames, and in Bastion we find not just a great story, but a great storyteller.

XBLA kicks off the Summer of Arcade with this spellbinding action-RPG.

A plodding prelude to an open-ended opus.

8.5
The most beautiful Final Fantasy game yet is an imperfect but still impressive saga that will touch your heart.

Square's latest rewards an open mind with engrossing combat and a solid story.
