Dark Void is a video game developed by Airtight Games and published by Capcom on the Unreal Engine 3 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Windows. In the game players must face an alien threat that humanity had previously banished. The game mixes on-foot and mid-air combat. The games make use of a new "vertical cover system", as well as a standard cover system.
The game will include a hover pack, and later, a jetpack, allowing for a quick transition between traditional shooter gameplay and flight. The game also features "tactical freedom", which is different ways of achieving the same goal.

Have you read Ben Daniel’s article about franchise fatigue yet? If you haven’t, you should do that as soon as your done with this reviewtorial (patent pending!). By doing so, you’ll understand why I feel the way I do about this franchise. Don’t worry, it’ll all come together shortly!

8.0
The laws of diminishing returns have started to affect Assassin’s Creed, and while Revelations doesn’t quite live up to the promise of its subtitle, there’s still plenty to like about what may be Ezio Auditore’s final adventure.

Assassin's Creed Revelations Review

7.7
As solid the gameplay refinements are, this is a less daring entry than its revolutionary predecessors.

7.0
Revelations are in short supply in the latest Assassin's Creed, which spins both a less remarkable and refined tale than usual -- and simply feels like a bridge towards a more meaningful chapter.

8.0
Ezio and Altair make graceful exits in Assassin's Creed: Revelations, another great historical adventure.

Dark Void - Reviews

6.5
Zooming around with your jetpack can be a lot of fun, but routine shooter action and long flightless sections keep Dark Void from flying high.

6.0
Dark Void lays down a great foundation with its solid premise and characters, but the action is grounded by a handful of technical issues.

6.0
This hybrid takes forever to start, and runs out of gas too soon.

5.0
You will believe a man can fly. You just won't care.

5.4
This initially fantastic and original "Rocketeer combat" game crashes into utterly mediocre ground.
