IGN 9.2

A sequel that triumphs over the original in every possible way.

GiantBomb 8.0

Assassin's Creed II elaborates on the good ideas of its sneak-and-stab forebear, making an experience that requires far fewer excuses to enjoy.

1UP 8.5

Ubi makes good on the series' potential.

GameSpot 9.0

Assassin's Creed II is what you'd want an action sequel to be: bigger, better, and more beautiful.

GameSpy 10.0

Superior to its predecessor in every way, this Renaissance sequel is one of the year's best games.
