Army of Two: The 40th Day - Reviews

7.0
based on 5 top critics

6.0
The 40th Day streamlines in spots, but it ends up feeling like a very straightforward and somewhat bland shooter.

7.5
The 40th Day has the same shallow appeal as a summer blockbuster. It provides brash, satisfying action when you're in the mood for something loud and fun.

6.9
This improved sequel still suffers from an inconsistent tone due to its new morality system.

6.0
Cooperative mediocrity.

8.5
Shanghai's been slated for fun co-operative demolition.

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary - Reviews

Life evolves as does Combat. I love that there are so many games coming out my backlog is larger than I will ever hope finish. I love that my wife hasn’t killed me yet for each time I bring another unopened game into our home. And I love that I’ve gotten to spend some time playing Halo CE over the internet with a longtime friend, even if we haven’t been able to beat it yet.

8.0
It's easy enough to look past the original Halo's more dated qualities given Anniversary's tasteful visual refresh and a combat formula that's still plenty exciting.

Halo Anniversary Review: Melding The Old And The New

8.0
Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary revitalizes an enduring classic.

8.0
Following the original blueprint left by Bungie, Halo: CE Anniversary proves that the franchise is in good hands with the crew at 343 Industries.

8.0
This reboot of Master Chief's first adventure is an exciting, if aged experience.

6.9
A unique tribute to all things Halo fall just short of being a revolutionary package.
